The idea that an English distiller was shipping gin to Iceland to be bottled with “the purist, lava-filtered glacier water” didn’t immediately strike us giddy with admiration. The giddiness crept up on us after we’d devoted an evening consuming the 90.4 proof Martin Miller’s Westbourne Strength Gin. Is the glacier water a marketing gimmick? We dunno. We fixated instead on the fact that Martin Miller’s is a very clean tasting, silky gin with a sly, tropical exoticism that makes a damned fine martini
